Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)

To enrol in our courses, students must meet Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) requirements having sufficient LLN skills to be able to participate in and complete our courses.
If you don’t believe you meet these requirements, you will need to complete a LLN assessment before we can finalise your enrolment. Where minor to moderate support needs are identified we can customise a plan to ensure students complete a required Language, Literacy and/or Numeracy bridging program or access specific supports during their course. Where high support needs are identified, students may be referred to a third party LLN specialist which may result in third party costs being incurred by the student.

If you previously successfully completed a nationally accredited vocational qualification or unit(s) of competency, you may be entitled to a Credit Transfer that can be applied to your enrolment. If a Credit Transfer applies to your Enrolment, this may result in you completing less units of competency at a reduced cost. For us to assess whether a Credit Transfer can be applied to your enrolment, you MUST provide us with a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Transcripts issued by The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and/or Unique Student Identifier (USI) and Certificates and/or Statements of Attainment issued by Registered Training Organisations showing units completed. From 1 January 2015, Real Estate Training Academy can be prevented from issuing you with a nationally recognised VET qualification or statement of attainment when you complete your course if you do not have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). In addition, we are required to include your USI in the data we submit to NCVER. If you have not yet obtained a USI you can apply for it directly at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi on computer or mobile device.

IF EMPLOYER IS PAYING COURSE FEES AND CHARGES: As the employer I have read, understood, and agree to the content within the Course Guide and Learner Handbook or OVERVIEW, UNITS, DURATION, COURSE FEES AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) including the ‘Corporate Enrolment Transfer Fees’. Please note that if the employer is paying the course fees then they must also sign this Enrolment Form. No refunds shall apply. As the employer I accept that the employer will not be eligible for a refund if the employee contravenes the policies and procedures.
8. If an employer is paying your course fee, they can request to withdraw your enrolment. A statement of attainment for any unit(s) successfully completed will be issued if fees are paid. No refunds shall apply.
9. I understand that Real Estate Training Academy is not obligated to keep my enrolment open beyond the Course End Date as stated on my Confirmation of Enrolment. I have read, understand and agree to the Standard Enrolment Periods and Course Extension Policy in the Learner Handbook and understand that fees and charges will apply to extend my course beyond the Standard Enrolment Period.
10. I understand that Real Estate Training Academy can withhold Certificates and/or Statements of Attainment, records of results or notification of training outcomes until all fees and charges have been paid in full.

I consent to the retention, use and disclosure of my personal information in this way. I consent to the information contained in this Enrolment Form being used by Real Estate Training Academy or the following third parties for administrative, regulatory and/or research purposes: a) My school – if I am a secondary student undertaking VET; b) Jobactive or DES provider OR Employer – if either had made a payment towards my training; c) Government departments and authorised agencies such as ASQA or Centrelink; d) Organisations conducting student surveys; e) Researchers; and f) NCVER who will use, secure, disclose, and retain your data in accordance with the VET Data Protocol and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER’s website at www.ncver.edu.au).
