As an Agent’s Representative, you can work for a Real Estate agency anywhere in Victoria performing any of the legal functions of that Estate Agent, including residential and commercial Sales and Property Management, Buying, Strata Management, Business Broking, or Auctioneering.
In Sales, you will have great satisfaction in helping people buy and sell properties whilst enjoying a flexible schedule and an income to reflect their hard work. This includes engaging with clients, listing and marketing properties, conducting open inspections, negotiating transactions and more.
In Property Management, you will connect with owners, tenants, and property maintenance services to successfully manage properties. This includes marketing and leasing properties, promptly dealing with maintenance, collecting rent, and managing tenants on behalf of the owner. Property Management is central to the Real Estate industry and good Property Managers are always in demand.
As an Estate Agent, you can own an agency or work in senior Real Estate roles, such as Principal Agent, Agency Director, Licensee in Charge or Agency Manager and perform all residential and commercial functions in Real Estate anywhere in Victoria (Sales, Property Management, Strata Management, Buyer’s Agent, Business Broking, or Auctioneering).
You must have gained the aggregate of at least one-year full-time experience as an Agent’s Representative in Victoria at any time during the last three years immediately before applying for an Estate Agent licence.
Estate Agents also manage strategic planning, managing day-to-day operations, marketing, financials, manage employees and more.

Enrolment was an easy process which I completed online through the website and within 24 hours I was commencing my studies! As I was living overseas for all of last year, it would have been impossible for me to complete my studies had it not been for the flexibility in study options offered. The online learning program allowed me to complete any part of the course, at any place in the world, at any time I wanted to! When first presented with the idea of considering a career change in Real Estate, I was faced with the need to complete required training to become a suitably qualified and licensed Real Estate Sales Representative. I was directed to Real Estate Training Academy who made the process of enrolment very easy and I was up and running within 24 hours. The option to study online was excellent and suited my circumstances ideally. It was reassuring to know that I had the opportunity for contact with the trainers through night classes or workshops. However, the flexibility of also liaising with the trainers via email or over the phone helped smooth out any questions that arose or aspects of the assessments that required clarification. I found the course material to be relevant, very comprehensive, and easy to read and understand. The instructions for completing and submitting assessment work were easy to understand and complete. Particularly beneficial is the practical application that forms part of some assessments which ‘grounds’ what is learnt through the reading and assignments. I was very impressed at the speed with which assessments were returned. Given my work life schedule, I decided to enrol into online learning. It was so easy to enrol and so worth it with what I can potentially do with the qualifications I have worked hard to achieve. The trainers in my opinion know how to teach to learn. I struggled to understand some of the work and was frustrated with my abilities to learn when I received re-submits. However, the trainers were patient and understanding and guided me to the correct path. Regular reminders to complete the work gave me the motivation to not give up and persist, which I believe was key to my completion of the course. This course not only provided me the qualifications I needed to do what I want to do, but the confidence to take on complicated work, accept and learn from failure, be persistent and stay on the track to success. So much so, that I was able to complete a Bachelors of Business simultaneously. The enrolment process was incredibly quick and simple: a phone call, a couple of emails between myself and the team, and off I went. As well as the accreditation, the practicality and flexibility of this Diploma is what encouraged me to take the leap.
