CPD – NSW Assistant Agents

Real Estate Training Academy is a NSW Fair Trading approved provider for the delivery of compulsory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in New South Wales for the 2024-25 CPD year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025).

If you’re an Assistant Agent holding a Certificate of Registration, you must complete the CPD specified for your Certificate of Registration each year. The current requirement is that you must complete at least three (3) units from CPP41419 – Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice each year.

Failure to comply with your CPD requirements may result in the suspension or cancellation of your Certificate of Registration.

Credit Transfers – If a student has previously successfully completed a nationally accredited vocational qualification or unit(s) of competency, they may be entitled to a Credit Transfer that can be applied to their enrolment.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – RPL is a feature of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Australia which allows students to be recognised for their experience or units previously completed (Credit Transfer) provided they have the required evidence to support this.

Study habits – Effective study habits can determine how quickly you complete your course. Students who set aside regular study times will often complete their course quicker, especially if they use our all-inclusive Learner Guides, Comprehensive Training Videos and Student Support Services.

Once you have completed our courses, you will receive an electronic (PDF) Certificate or a Statement of Attainment within 1-2 business days (often on the same business day).
Originals can either be collected from our offices or posted to you, free of charge.

There are no education requirements to enrol in our courses.
Students must meet acceptable Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Capability (LLND) requirements, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian resident, or an Australian visa holder without any study restrictions and be residing in Australia.

There are no exams, and you have unlimited attempts at assessments with no fees or charges.
Assessments are made up of multiple choice, short answers, case studies, projects and practical assessments like Real Estate contracts, forms, and role plays.
